First time writing something in here. Three years passed really fast and I will graduate 1.6 which is just few weeks away. I have also been working at Frozenbyte, which is a Finnish indie game developer. I am still on trial, but we made an contract of employment just yesterday and I will start right after I graduate.
I have learned shit tons of new stuff while in there and had to learn a new modelling program too. At first jumping between Max and Luxology Modo was really hard as modelling with modo is like playing Starcraft when you have to constantly press space bar to drop the damn tool, so when I go to Max I keep pressing the space bar for locking the keyboard...maybe I should change the hotkey..
The team at Frozenbyte is great and everyone is really helpful. The job is not getting done without a proper inhouse cook who makes delicious food and it's FREE!
Must be the best perk there.
I have been working with 3d models and textures which works for me... for now, but I would like to know more about the editor some of the guys are using (level artist, animator..etc.)
